As on 6th August, we’re just a month away from the iPhone 11 launch date event – Apple’s 2019 flag-ship iPhone. At an investor event, Softbank’s president Ken Miyauchi revels that iPhone 11 will launch on 20th September by mistake.
Japan has recently passed a new bill for the telecommunications industry, the carrier companies need to separate the data and phone plans. The government believes that the carrier companies are combining the phone and data plans and charging their customers extra when opting for premium mobiles like, iPhones.
SoftBank President’s reveals 2019 iPhone Launch Date
As reported by Macotakara, during the conference, Softbank’s Miyauchi was asked about his plans to deal with the same bill taking in-to account the September iPhone launch.
To which he replied:
“Honestly, I am wondering what should I do for 10 days. No, I shouldn’t say that,” Miyauchi said. “Anyway, I don’t know when the new iPhone will be released. However, almost after 10 days, it will be unbundled.”
The statement did lead us somewhere. Miyauchi followed the timeline which Apple takes into account every year for iPhone launch events. Suggesting that what can be done in a small time period of 10 days, hints that iPhone 11 will hit the stores on September 20th 2019.
Now, things are getting in-to line. The timeline fits in exactly. Like most of the time, Apple plans to host the launch event on the second Tuesday or Wednesday of September. Tuesday is on 10th and Wednesday on the 11th, and Apple avoids to host events on 11th September.
Which confirms 10th September to be the date of 2019 iPhone 11 launch date event. Followed by pre-booking starts on Friday – 13th September and on next Friday – 20th September Apple starts shipping the iPhones to their respective owners.
But nothing is hundred percent sure at this time, as well. Everything here are just analyses of the past behaviour of Apple and the track followed by the company. But before iPhone 11 launch, Apple is also going to launch Apple Card in the month of August, as confirmed by Tim Cook, CEO, Apple Inc.
The coming months are going to be very exciting and full of events. Stay tuned by following us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Also, you can share your questions to us and we will be glad to answer them.
