If you own an Apple Watch you must be knowing that Apple released watchOS 5, the latest watchOS update with few amazing features. But just in 10 days, now Apple has come up with a minor update for watchOS. Updating from watchOS 5 to watchOS 5.0.1.
Update to watchOS 5.0.1
All you need to do in order to update to the latest version of watchOS is, go to Apple Watch App > Settings > General > Software Update and you would have received an Over the Air update for your Watch.
You’ll need to make sure that the Watch has 50% battery, connected to a power source and with-in the range of the paired iPhone.
What’s new in watchOS 5.0.1
According to the release notes of Apple, the new update fixes the following bugs:
This update contains improvements and bug fixes, including:
- Fixes an issue that caused a small number of users to see an increase in exercise minutes
- Addresses an issue that caused some users to not receive Stand credit in the afternoon
- Fixes an issue that could prevent Apple Watch from charging
As mentioned, this is a minor update, so for now that’s all that has been fixed in this update.
