What’s new in iOS 12.1 Beta 5

Frankly, nothing new. The features and the options remain the same with no new change or update visible yet in the fifth beta. But overall, iOS 12.1 is a great choice to upgrade. Talking about iOS 12.1 Beta 4 to Beta 5 changes, there is not much to talk about.

For you all to know what’s new in iOS 12.1, you can go through this article (you can also read below)

iOS 12.1 turns out to be the true version of iOS 12 which Apple promised during the launch event and WWDC 2018. Due to few last moment issues Apple was unable to add those features in the iOS 12.0 Official Release but with iOS 12.1 it is adding all those features.

Group FaceTime

iOS 12.1 comes with the amazing option of Group FaceTime calls. Now you can do a group FaceTime call with upto 32 people. There are many people who love to use FaceTime but due to the lack of Group Calling feature people were forced to use other applications like Messenger or WhatsApp. But now, they can use their favourite app FaceTime for group video calls.

Dual Sim Support

One of the noticeable feature Apple has finally added to this years iPhone Xs, Xs Max and Xr is the support for dual sims. This will help Apple gain a lot of those users who love Apple but due to lack of second sim-card support had to shift to Android. Now, you can use one physical sim-card and second e-sim-card with the supported carriers. So, you do not need to have a physical sim-card, with help of pre-installed E-Sim you can start using the service from your existing service provider.

There is a lot to go for iOS, but we are waiting for Apple to launch the iOS 12.1 officially to the General Public and that should happen sometime real soon.

Will you upgrade to iOS 12.1? If so, which is the feature that you think is the most attractive in iOS 12.1, let us know in the comments below.
