Apple, over the last week, finished its back-to-school offers. A time period, when the company offers discounts on its products, to make more sales and provide its products to school and college-going students at a lower price tag.
It allows the company to make more sales as well as allows the students to get their hands on Apple products and improve their productivity with studies.
However, now after the back-to-school offer ends, Apple is back with a new proposal. The Cupertino giant is going to donate $10 to National Park Foundation on every transaction made using Apple Pay for a week. The initiative aims at protecting and supporting the national parks in The United States.
The program kick starts on the 17th August and goes on till 25th August. So, for every single transaction made using Apple Pay between these dates with Apple Stores, Apple.com, or Apple App Store; Apple will donate $10. But Apple notes, it added, there is an upper limit of 100,000 transactions. Which means, at max, the company will be the donation a million dollars to the National Park Foundation.
Apart from this, over the next week as well, Apple is planning to organise an Apple Watch Activity Challenge. The event is for the celebration of hundred years of the Grand Canyon National Park.
During the event, the participants will be asked to do a 3 km running, cycling, walking, as a workout.
